Start your King's Day celebrations off strong by joining us with Stadspark Parkrun!
On Kings Day, Saturday the 27th of April Groningen Mail is going to be running with Stadspark Parkrun!
Parkrun is a fun, community-organised running event that happens every Saturday at 9 AM in the morning. Everyone is welcome to join the free, 5km run to walk, jog, run, or volunteer.
Located at Concourslaan 1, Groningen, 9727 KC, Parkrun offers a scenic route through the park, with marshlands and wooded areas to explore. Participation is free — all you need to do is register once before your first run and bring your scannable barcode. There's no pressure on speed, so come and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
After the run, join us for complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies, where you can share stories and connect with fellow park runners and share King’s Day spirit before the day drinking begins.
Since it will be taking place on King’s Day, feel free to deck yourself out in the most orange outfit you own, or just have fun with your costume (or not, normies are allowed too.)
