1. All-Round Groningen

2. City Canal Cruise

6. Prinsentuin Garden
Close to the city center, Prinsentuin provides a great restaurant and a beautiful, rosy garden. If you want to take some fancy photos full of green and colorful flowers, this is the right place! Entrance is free, while summer and spring are the best seasons to see it.
7. Pathe Groningen
Want to see the newest movies in a cinema? For only 13€ per seat, you can grab your friends in Gedempte Zuiderdiep where Pathe is located, which has a snack center and a gaming center as an added bonus.
8. Artsy Avenue
Before going to the UB to study, be sure to make a stop at Artsy Avenue on Oude Boteringestraat to drink your coffee while painting your ceramic cup. See who is the best painter among your friends!
Side Note: Painting your own cup exceeds the budget, but nonetheless you are surrounded by art, so it is worth mentioning!
9. Hooghoudt Proeflokaal
Last but not least on this list is Hooghoudt Proeflokaal, located in Gedempte Zuiderdiep. A cozy bar with affordable drinks, where you can play board games such as chess and checkers and watch the newest football games.
