09 November - Sint Martinus Parade and Lantern Competition
The annual Sint Martinus parade invites children to walk with lanterns alongside Saint Martin and Roman soldiers toward the Martinikerk. Inside, the lantern competition allows kids to showcase their creations for prizes across different age categories. The event features storytelling, singing, and hot chocolate, with a surprise for every participant.
09 November - Plantsoenloop Groningen
The 66th Plantsoenloop returns to the Noorderplantsoen, with registrations now open for various distances, including kids' runs from 1 to 4 KM. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the green heart of the city, with all finishers receiving a medal.
