Huge Traffic Disruption in Following Days

Operation Ring Zuid will start on the 23rd of March and will continue until the 2nd of September. During that time the authorities advice to limit the usage of cars. It is estimated that daily traffic needs to be decreased by around 20% (80,000 vehicles!) to keep a smooth flow and avoid congestion.

Friday, March 22nd, marked the first Groningen Holi Festival organized by the Groningen Indian Students Association and Erasmus Student Network Groningen. It was truly a unique atmosphere with delicious snacks, chai, traditional music, and of course lots of color.
This is part of ESN Groningen’s Social Impact Week which aims to enrich society through international student experiences.
